Fee Free Kindy 2026
Our brand new Kindergarten space has evolved from an empty church hall to an architecturally design play space. Our service can now facilitate 49 children aged 2 to 5 years. We have approval for Fee Free Kindy in 2026. We would like to invite our newest team member, Early Childhood Teacher, Mrs Jen Dobson. She has a wealth of experience as an ECT in our local area. She will be the ECT in the brand new Kindergarten space.
Our Brand New Playscape
Over January and February, we worked with AusPlay to create a space that worked for our environment and for the children in our care. Today we have a new play fort, double swing set, water park, mud kitchen and sandpit. Soft fall and bark surround the new playscape. We appreciate all the efforts by Mr Courtney and Mr Bremner. Dalby Ambulance Visit and Safety Awareness 🚑🚨
Today, the children at Play Early Learning Centre had an exciting visit from the Dalby Ambulance team.
The ambulance visit provided an exceptional learning opportunity for the children, tying into the ‘Hazards and Safety’ unit that we have been learning.
This experience values real-world learning and hands-on experiences. The visit allowed the children at our childcare centre to develop an understanding of safety and emergency services in a practical and engaging manner.

Dalby Fire Fighters Visit Play ELC
The Dalby Fire Fighters visited Play Early Learning Centre 🚒
On Tuesday, 18 June, the children at our childcare centre learned that there are 4 rules to being safe during a fire:
1. Don’t play with fire.
2. Get down low and go, go, go.
3. Don’t go back in; and,
4. Stop. Drop and roll.
We are very thankful to the Dalby Fire Fighters for letting us each use their fire hose. It was such a great morning 🚒 it has been a good follow on from our 'SeeMore Safety' unit with the children at daycare. Thanks @qld_fes
